Beautiful Willemstad, the capital city of Curaçao. I took this picture 2 years ago on our wedding anniversary there. A former governor of the island was plagued by headaches that he felt was caused by all of the white buildings, so the townspeople got together and each painted in pastels to please him. Today their famous architecture is testament to that.
