I finished the ASICS LA Marathon in 5:43.43, my 13th marathon or ultra. The overall experience was greater than the individual race. Being part of the ASICS LA Marathon Blogger Challenge Team was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I can't wait to say more about. It's getaway day, so I'll have lots of time on the flight to collect thoughts and put together a recap. After 1,000 runners required medical attention at this marathon, self included, I'll just add it to the books, not with a PR but on the survival side.
I have a lot of new friends. For that I am most thankful.
